Funding band rules to know
- The funding band maximum is the most the government will contribute per learner — you can charge up to this amount.
- Levy employers pay from their levy account up to the band maximum. Any excess above band is employer-funded.
- Non-levy employers contribute 5% co-investment; government pays the remaining 95% up to band maximum.
- EPA must be procured separately and sits within the band maximum, not on top of it.
- Growth and Skills Levy rules may change co-investment thresholds — check current ESFA guidance before quoting.
