EPA and apprenticeship assessment date planner
Create a working timeline for one exact standard version and assessment plan. Choose the legacy EPA route or the revised apprenticeship assessment route: revised plans can place assessment activity during the programme and finish at a gateway to completion.

How this planner treats the transition
- Legacy assessment plans retain end-point assessment (EPA) and gateway terminology. EPA activity should be scheduled using the exact gateway requirements and timing in that plan.
- Revised assessment plans use apprenticeship assessment and gateway to completion. Plan-defined assessment may occur during the programme; the final checkpoint follows completion of required training and assessment outcomes.
- The timeline carries the entered standard-specific or start-date OTJ minimum into the final evidence-review milestone. It does not calculate a universal 20% target.
- English and maths must be planned only where applicable to the learner under the current funding rules. Mandatory qualifications and any other plan-specific conditions must also be added to the working record.
- For revised plans, the employer verifies the required behaviours. The planner adds this to the final checkpoint preparation.
