Restaurants, hotels & multi-site hospitality · Broader opportunity

Train frontline teams consistently across every location.

One location runs a strong onboarding. Another improvises. The difference shows up in service standards, food safety records and the next inspection. TIQPlus gives every location the same program, and gives you the view across all of them without asking managers to report it.

For multi-unit restaurants, hotels, franchise groups and contract catering

The problem

Why standards vary by location

The brand standard is written once centrally, and then re-interpreted at every site.

1

Consistency depends on who the GM is.

Brand standards, service sequence, allergen handling and cash procedures are documented centrally and then interpreted locally. Guest experience and compliance vary by location for the same reason: the training did.

The cost: standards you cannot rely on across the estate.
2

Turnover makes onboarding the main event.

Frontline hospitality turnover means you are onboarding continuously. Every extra week of ramp-up on every new hire is a real number, and it is largest at exactly the locations with the least training capacity.

The cost: unproductive labour hours, repeated all year.
3

Mandated training varies by state and role.

Food handler cards, alcohol service certification and harassment prevention training are required on different terms in different states, with different renewal periods. A multi-state operator is running several regimes at once.

The risk: a lapsed certification behind the bar.
4

Nobody is chasing completion at 11pm.

Frontline staff are part-time, split-shift and often seasonal. Training that assumes a desk and a work email does not get done, and the follow-up lands on managers who are mid-service.

The cost: completion that never reaches the whole team.

How it works

How TIQPlus handles it

Build centrally, deliver locally, measure across the estate.

Build the program once, centrally

Role-based programs for front of house, kitchen, housekeeping and management, generated from your existing brand standards and SOPs.

Deploy to every location

Each location inherits the central program plus anything specific to its state or format, and new hires are assigned automatically on their start date.

Deliver on a phone before the first shift

Short mobile modules with knowledge checks, so a new starter arrives having already covered orientation, safety basics and the fundamentals of the role.

See the estate at a glance

Completion, certification currency and outstanding items by location, region and role, without asking a single manager to send anything in.

The record

What you can see and evidence

Rolled up for the estate, and drillable to a single person at a single site.

Record What it holds
Onboarding progress Where every new hire is in their program, by location, with time-to-complete comparable across sites.
Food safety certification Food handler and manager certification status and expiry per person, per location, against that state's requirement.
Alcohol service training Server and seller certification with expiry tracking where the state or the venue requires it.
Mandated workplace training Harassment prevention and other state-mandated training, assigned on the interval each state requires.
Brand standards Which version of a service standard, recipe or procedure each person was trained on, reassigned when it changes.
Location comparison Completion and currency by site and region, so the locations that need support are visible before an inspection finds them.

Who uses it

Who uses it

Operations & Multi-Unit Leaders

Compare locations on the same measures and intervene where training is slipping, rather than after a bad audit.

  • Site and region comparison on one measure set
  • Outliers surfaced without manager reporting
  • New site launched from the existing program

General Managers

Onboard a new starter without building the program yourself, and see what the team still owes at a glance.

  • Automatic assignment on start date
  • Outstanding items for the whole team in one view
  • Certification expiry ahead of the rota

HR & People Teams

Run mandated training across states on the right intervals, with the record to prove it.

  • State-specific mandated training rules
  • Multi-language delivery with unified reporting
  • Records retained for seasonal and rehired staff

Underneath

One platform, configured for your sector

The requirement sets, evidence types and reporting above are configuration, not a separate product. The same platform runs learner, manager, admin and HR portals, generates training from your own documents, and exports the records you need.

FAQ

Questions we get from hospitality operators

Does it work for franchise as well as corporate locations?

Yes. A central program can be deployed to franchise locations while each location keeps visibility of its own team, and estate-level reporting stays available to the franchisor.

Can training be delivered in more than one language?

Yes. Modules can be produced in multiple languages, and completion tracks per person regardless of which version they took.

Does TIQPlus issue food handler or alcohol service certifications?

No. Those come from state-approved providers. TIQPlus records the certification, tracks its expiry, and delivers the internal training that sits around it.

How quickly can a new location be set up?

A new location inherits the existing program and role assignments, so adding a site is a configuration step rather than a rebuild.

What if staff do not have a work email?

Access does not require a corporate email account, and training runs on a personal phone.

Deploy one program across three locations

We will take one role's onboarding, build it centrally, and show you what it looks like deployed to several sites — including the estate-level view of who has completed it.
